SERVICE OVERVIEW

What this service involves

Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a private form of physiotherapy that considers pelvic floor function, breathing, core coordination, bladder or bowel concerns, pelvic discomfort and pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

Appointments are explained step by step and proceed only with informed consent. The assessment is adapted to comfort, symptoms and goals, and an internal examination is never automatic or required for every patient.

When routine care may not be appropriate

Urgent bleeding, severe new pain, fever, pregnancy-related emergency symptoms or other acute medical concerns require prompt medical assessment rather than a routine physiotherapy appointment.
